About Quiltique

Quiltique was founded in 2003 by the Tibesar family with a simple goal: to create a place where creativity, education, and community come together. What started as a family dream has grown into one of the premier quilting and sewing destinations in the Las Vegas Valley.

Today, Quiltique is proudly led by Kara Tibesar, who continues the vision her parents, Bob and Jan, helped build more than two decades ago. Alongside them, Jennifer played an instrumental role in building Quiltique from the ground up. As a family they combined their skills to shape the shop, the customer experience, and the welcoming community that so many quilters have come to call home.

While Bob has retired and Jennifer is pursuing new passions, the foundation they helped create continues to guide Quiltique today. Jan's love for quilting, teaching, and connecting with others remains woven into the fabric of Quiltique. Though she passed away in 2021, her creativity, generosity, and dedication to this community continue to inspire our team and the countless customers whose lives she touched.
